I would advise against that unless you know what you're getting yourself into. ;)
WordPress vs. Blogger
Pros: Nicer themes, support for non-blog pages, lots of widgets, blogroll management, lots of customizations and options
Cons: All JavaScript and Embeds are stripped out except for YouTube and some other video sites, no access to CSS unless you pay
